2017 was a great year, but 2016 >>>> 2017.
Top Moments of 2017
4. The Sims 4
I caught The Sims 4 on sale for the holiday...63% OFF!! I have been addicted to The Sims since it came out in 2000. As the later versions of the game came out, I couldn't keep up with the expansion packs and my computer didn't have the best specs. BUT NOW...I HAVE IT!! And I've been designing homes like the great architect I knew I would be. At least my Sims and I appreciate it. I do plan to get at least one more expansion pack and then I will be satisfied. So far I have Cats and Dogs, Bowling Night, Dine Out, Holiday Pack and City Living. I think I want Get Together or the outdoor one...I am not sure. I am going to wait for another sale before I purchase it. That way I'll get more for my money! This is really one of my top moments of the year.
3. Spring '17 Semester
Finishing another semester with straight A's. I was so nervous about this semester because I knew I wanted to get back on the Dean's List. I made it effort to make sure I did my best on everything I touched! The class that really made me nervous was my Calculus I class. I knew the final would be hard...and it didn't help that I was sick! She literally separated me from the other students in the class room so I wouldn't be a distraction. Thankfully, it wasn't too much of a distraction for anybody, including myself. Fall '17 semester was a dee-zas-turr...
2. Overflow of Ideas
During the Fall semester, and even leading up to it, I became overwhelmed with new ideas. That's about all I can say...
1. Missouri
Easily the highlight of my 2017 year! Over the summer, I lived in Missouri at Wonderland Camp. It's a camp for special needs individuals. At this camp they are able to enjoy themselves without restrictions they may run into at a camp that doesn't specifically cater to people with disabilities. Wonderland Camp created a great schedule for the campers to have fun during their week at camp. We swam, we laughed, we crossed high ropes, and we laughed a whole lot more. We did arts and crafts, played 5-on-5 basketball, and so many other different activities. I met some great individuals and created close bonds with some of the campers. It was a very exhausting summer. The hardest job I ever had but also it was the most rewarding. I was going to blog about this summer journey more during the summer, but I decided to live in the moment more and maybe one day I will share summer at camp. I was able to take some great photos of campers the last two weeks I was there. However, I am unable to share them due to confidentiality reasons. Below are some photos I took around camp and Missouri.
2017 Goals
I only completed about...
...let me check...
...[insert low percentage] of my goals last year. Why? Well...there has to be certain things set in place for me to complete my goals. Somehow those things keep getting taken away from me. I'll never scratch those goals. I'll just add them to the list for 2018 and so on until I complete them.
For 2018...my goals are to...
Live Day by Day
Be Consistent
Live Healthier
Keep working on my uncompleted goals
That's really it so far. I don't want to put too much on myself anymore. So, I figure I need to take it day by day. Hour by hour. Minute by minute. Second by...oh whatever you get what I am trying to say. I just want to live without constantly knowing I won't be able to complete my goals. Unfortunately, my goals are dependent upon certain factors.
Favorites of the Year
My favorite food of the year would have to be my Spicy Habanaro Crockpot Chicken. It's so good...
Here are 3 of my favorite songs of 2017
Oh and of course...I have to win a Championship with The Crew on NBA2K18 this year!!
