Bike Ride #5

Early morning. Same path. Better results. I used the hybrid bike for this ride. I had to stop early because it was too cold outside and my ears were hurting. I needed a hat and some extra layers. My best bet would have been to have the correct cycling apparel. I am starting to see results in my performance, I just need to push myself more. Challenge myself!!
Bike Ride #6

Went on a more scenic route this morning. Took the mountain bike today. One thing I really need to start doing before I go on my bike rides is EAT!! I need my body to have more energy while I ride. I often feel tired fast during my ride and my legs feel really weak afterwards. I think by eating something before I get started would help me go further and faster on the bike. My goal for the next ride is to have some breakfast and water before heading out. Hopefully the results prove that is what I need to take my cycling to the next level. I know they will. At least that's what the pro-cyclists say. Other than that, I did feel like I need to start exploring different bike paths and planning different routes to use so that I don't find myself getting bored. It get's easy to coast on these rides when you're in familiar territory.
